You can replace, among others, the battery, display, USB-C port, main camera and front camera. If after a few years the battery life begins to shorten or the screen becomes damaged, you can replace a specific part with a new one. In practice, this allows you to significantly extend the actual period of using your smartphone and reduce the amount of electronic waste.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor works with 12 GB of RAM, which provides a large reserve for using many applications at the same time. More memory is especially useful when switching between instant messaging, browser, office applications, maps and multimedia, as more programs can remain active in the background. 256 GB of internal memory provides plenty of space for applications, photos, videos and documents.

Fairphone also retains the option of expanding the memory using a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2 TB. This solution, which is increasingly rare in modern smartphones, allows you to easily increase the space for photos, videos, music and documents without using additional cloud storage. The microSD slot is independent of the physical nano-SIM card, so expanding the memory does not require giving up the primary SIM card.

The smartphone has a 6.31-inch LTPO P-OLED display with a resolution of 2484 × 1116 pixels and a density of approximately 431 ppi. The adaptive refresh rate from 10 to 120 Hz ensures smooth page scrolling, animations and convenient interface operation, while also reducing energy consumption when a high refresh rate is not needed. Wi-Fi 6E allows you to use the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands on compatible networks, and Bluetooth is used to connect headphones, smartwatches, car audio systems, keyboards and other wireless devices. NFC allows, among other things, the use of contactless payments.

The replaceable battery with a capacity of 4415 mAh is one of the most practical features of the device. In most modern smartphones, replacing a used battery requires removing the casing and visiting a service center, while in Fairphone the user can replace the battery bybravely. This is particularly important after several years of use, when the battery capacity naturally decreases. The smartphone supports fast wired charging via USB-C with a power of up to 30 W.

The housing has an IP55 resistance class, thanks to which the device is protected against the ingress of harmful amounts of dust and water jets. At the same time, the phone has been designed to maintain easy access to replaceable components.
