The Fairphone (Gen. 6+) 256 GB is a modular Android smartphone designed for long life, easy repair and reducing the need to replace the entire phone when a single component wears out. The Forest Green version of the F6FPHN-3GR-EU1 offers 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal memory and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. Compared to the standard Fairphone (Gen. 6), increased RAM and a newer processor provide more performance for multitasking, demanding applications and subsequent versions of Android.

One of the most important features of the phone is its modular design. Instead of permanently gluing the most important components, Fairphone allows you to replace many elements of the device yourself. The battery, screen and camera modules are replaceable, so damage or natural wear of one component does not have to mean replacing the entire smartphone. This is especially important for users who want to use the phone for many years and perform basic repairs themselves.

The smartphone is equipped with an LTPO pOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.31 inches and a resolution of 2484 × 1116 pixels. Adaptive refresh up to 120Hz provides smoother page scrolling, animations and interface performance, and can lower the refresh rate when high smoothness is not needed, helping to reduce power consumption. Brightness of up to 1,400 nits improves readability outdoors, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i increases the screen’s resistance to everyday scratches and accidental impacts.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 combined with 12 GB of RAM ensures adequate performance for everyday work, communication, Internet browsing, navigation, multimedia, handling multiple applications simultaneously and mobile games. More RAM allows you to keep more apps active in the background without having to constantly restart them. 256 GB of internal memory provides plenty of space for applications, photos and videos, and a dedicated microSD slot allows you to increase data space by an additional 2 TB without giving up the physical nano-SIM card.

The photographic system includes a 50 Mpix main camera with optical image stabilization and a 13 Mpix ultra-wide-angle camera. The main camera is perfect for everyday photos, photographing people, products or landscapes, and OIS stabilization helps reduce blur in photos and ensure more stable recordings. The ultra-wide lens allows you to cover more of the scene without moving away from the subject, which is useful when photographing interiors, architecture and groups of people, among others. The 32 Mpix front camera is designed for selfies and video calls.

Fairphone (Gen. 6+) supports 5G and Dual SIM networks via a physical nano-SIM and eSIM card. Wi-Fi 6E also allows you to use the 6 GHz band on compatible networks, which can ensure less interference and high connection bandwidth. Bluetooth 5.4 allows you to connect headphones, watches, car audio systems and other wireless devices, while NFC allows you to use, among others, contactless payments and quick pairing of compatible accessories.

The replaceable 4415 mAh battery is designed for all-day use, and fast wired charging allows you to quickly replenish energy during the day. The ability to replace the battery yourself is particularly important if you use the phone for many years, because after its capacity drops, you do not have to send the entire device to a service center or replace the smartphone with a new one.

The housing has an IP55 resistance class, thanks to which the phone is protected against dust and water jets and is better able to withstand everyday use in less favorable conditions. The design also meets the MIL-STD-810H resistance requirements. At the same time, the device retains access to replaceable components, which distinguishes it from many modern smartphoneswith tightly glued, practically inseparable housings.

Fairphone Moments uses a physical switch located on the side of the device that can activate a simplified mode that limits distracting smartphone functions. This allows you to quickly transition from the full Android experience to a more minimalist interface designed, for example, for work, rest or time spent with family. The phone also supports modular accessories attached to the back of the housing.

The Fairphone (Gen. 6+) is intended primarily for people who, instead of changing their phone every few years, want to buy a device that can be repaired and modernized by replacing worn-out components.
